Documents Checklist for Switzerland visa
Mandatory Requirements:
Passport:
Original Passport with validity of minimum three months (from the date of return) and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping. (Documents Checklist for Switzerland Visa)
Please note :
a) Clear copies of bio data pages of the passport.
b) Clear copies of valid schengen visas and of valid UK/USA visa(if any)
c) But passports issued beyond 10 years, handwritten passports & passports with any observation on bio data pages of passport will not be accepted.
d) Also attach all your old passports (if any)
Shengen Visa Application Form of Switzerland:
Visa application form to be fill online through the following link. Post filling the form printout of the same has taken and sign from the applicant.
Photo Dimension:
Two recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (size 35 – 40 mm)
Additionally note: Photograph should not be more than 6 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
Personal Cover Letter:
Covering-Letter from applicant mentioning his/her name, designation, passport number, purpose & duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorised signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Switzerland, New Delhi.
Please Note:
a) Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employee or on plain paper if Employee .
b) If an applicant is submitting the applications of his/her family, then all applications must have a copy of the covering-letter.
Flights:
Flight Reservation and if applicable proof of intra-Schengen flight, train itinerary or car rental.
Hotel Booking:
Hotel confirmation for the entire period of stay in Schengen area.
Please Note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be Switzerland.
Medical Certificate/Insurance:
Original Medical Insurance for the entire stay in Schengen area with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros/person.
Please Note :
a) Insurance has to be done by the Authorised Insurance Companies
b) The insurance has to cover the entire stay in Schengen territory
c) Applicants who wish to apply for a six months or one year multiple entry visa are not obliged to provide a 180(365)day coverage.It will be sufficient to submit an insurance policy covering the first journey.
Financials/Other documents:
(all documents have to be Originals, in format A 4)
If Employed:
a) Personal ITR for last 2 years .
b) Person Bank Statement for last three months with original stamp/signature of authorised signatory of the bank.Note :Bank statement Should be on A4 Size Paper.
c) Salary slips for last three months.
If Self Employed:
a) Company’s Bank statement for last three months with original stamp/signature of authorised signatory of the bank.
b) Company’s ITR for last three two years.
Please Note :
a) Bank statement to be provided in A-4 size format and if it’s a nationalised bank then no originals (Passbook) to be accepted and applicant has to submit a Xerox with original bank statement & stamp.
b) For a Black & white stamp on statement, please ensure the signature are done by authorised signatory of the bank.
Proof of Employment:
Self Employed
a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation / Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership Deed
b) Brief Company Profile
c) Articles of Memorandum (In case the applicant is MD/Director)
Employed:
A letter from the employer on the business letter head mentioning applicant’s designation, duration of the service and “no objection statement” regarding the planned trip to Switzerland/schengen countries, the dates and purpose of visit.
Student:
Also attach the leave Sanction Letter, School ID Card and NOC from school mentioning the dates of trip
If you are under 18, you must also submit
a) If you are travelling alone – An authorisation letter signed from both parents with their passports or a notarised affidavit signed by both parents is required.
Authorisation Letter:
Applicant will have to submit an authorisation letter authorising Bookrumz.com to submit and collect documents.
Travelling With Partner:
Either the name of spouse should be endorsed on the passport or a copy and original marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriages of the concerned State, duly legalised by the competent State Home Ministry is required.
